Amongst family and friends, Donna passed away peacefully at the West Haldimand General Hospital on Monday, October 13, 2014 in her 78th year. Loving wife of the late Douglas McConachie. Outstanding mother and friend of Darren and Jennifer, and Dale and Sara. Cherished grandma of Nathan (Shantelle), Jenessa, Joshua, and Noa. Great grandma (G.G.) of Lyndon and Gemma. Daughter of the late Fred and Nina (Moerschfelder) Snider. Sister of Ron and the late Lettie, the late Carol and Keith Metcalfe, and Lynn (deceased) and Pat. Sister-in-law of the late Merlin and Maureen Mallett, David and Kim McConachie, Kathy and Wulf Muller, Evelyn and the late Don Mallett, Gloria and the late Ken Mallett, and the late Joyce. Also will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Donna was a lifelong member and organist of the Mt. Olivet United Church and a well respected organ and piano teacher in the community for over 50 years. The family will honour her life with visitation at the Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. where funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11 am. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Mt. Olivet United Church.
