Colin Francis Garlow
August 14, 1958 – May 29, 2026
It is with great sadness that the family of Colin Garlow announce his passing on May 29, 2026 at the age of 67. He is survived by his sister Sharon Garlow as well as numerous cousins and extended family.
He is predeceased by his father James ‘Jim’ Garlow and mother Greta (nee Staats) Garlow, his sister Rhonda Garlow-Schuetze and an older brother James who passed away in infancy, his paternal grandparents Albert and Gladys (nee Lewis) Garlow, and maternal grandparents Isaac and Margaret (nee Poodry) Staats.
As a teenager in high school Colin was a wrestler and a football player. As a wrestler he competed in many high school and Ontario provincial tournaments, many of which he won. His high school football team won their championship the first year that he played on the team. He always felt it to be such a great accomplishment to win this championship as football has always been his favorite sport to play and watch. He loved the NFL and the Buffalo Bills were his favorite team.
Colin was ultimately a good person at heart. He was always glad that he came from a family who he loved and a family that loved him.
The family will honour his life with a visitation at the Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Tuesday from 5-9 pm. where Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday June 3, 2026 at 1pm.
