Chief Cleveland General will always be in our hearts. Ron spent many hours working on Cleve’s home making it safe for him at the request and under the supervision of his Daughter Laurie so she was assure her aging Dad Would have a safe home. During this time Cleve and Ron also began to make Cleves Byrne Pickles and shared happy moments Laurie took her Dad annually to the Niagara area for many fruits to preserve. Laurie adored her father. Laurie and I spent many days in our youth spending time getting water for him from the creek and Laurie always cooking up something good on the stove when he had the old house and then the new home. Cleve always had a good story to tell and would make baby rattles from turtles. As he entered the hall during Laurie and Robs wedding she introduced him so proudly as Chief Cleveland General her father. Cleve was proud of her choice of husband Rob. He loved her children Kyle and Sarah, his Grandchildren and his late son Rick. Cleve was always such a kind and gentle man. He will always be forever remembered in our hearts & I will always have fond memories of him as well. Our hearts are heavy at this time. We send our deepest sympathy to Cleve’s family.
