It is with great sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of Charles in his 29th year, on Friday April 24th 2020 surrounded by love at Hamilton General Hospital. Proud father to his little queens Audrey and Amelia Staats. Charles will be greatly missed by his parents Amie and Keith, his soulmate Peyton, and his in-laws Owen and Cindy, and sister Nikki. Charles joins his sister Chantel, brothers Daniel and Brodie Staats, father Daniel Staats, grandparents Oliver (Bill) Laforme, Delores (Spencer) Laforme, Charles Staats and Pauline Froman, as well as many aunts and uncles. Charles will be remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and many friends, especially his best friend Kyle Stockton. Thank you to the co-workers and friends at Kubes Steel for their support. A special thank you to the Neurology Team at the Hamilton General Hospital and a very special thank you to Nurse Julie of the I.C.U., due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be alternative services announced at a later date. To all that knew and loved Charles, I am so very sorry that he's gone. I met him through Peyton and was devastated to see he had passed so soon, when all the good things were just beginning to happen for him. It simply isn't fair. Audrey and Amelia are quite possibly the cutest little girls on the planet and I can't imagine how this must feel for them. My heartfelt condolences extend to all of you.
