
Bryan Philip Hill (Big B)
July 17, 1950 - August 3, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bryan Philip Hill ("Big B"), who passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026 at Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 76.
Bryan was the grandson of the late Rose & Frank Winnie and Hiram & Hilda Miller. He was the son of the late Peter & Betty Hill. Husband of the late Phyllis Sandy. Loving dad to his fur babies Blacky, Priscilla and Lucy. Loved brother of Pete, Rosemary, Florence, Jenica, Sharron (Rick), Lulu, Leenie (Mike), and the late Earl, Kenny, Vinny, and Mark. Step-father of Lyle (Ang), Sharon, Ali, Duane (Peg), Jim (Cindy), and Derek, and the late Sandra, and Pat. Bryan is further survived by his Aunt Betty Johnson, and his Uncle Frankie Winnie. Forever brother-in-law to Missy, Denise, Laura and Nandell. He was predeceased by his step-mother Christine Hill. Special Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
A proud retired Ironworker, he was also the former owner of Hill's Snack Bar, where he became a familiar face and formed countless friendships with his customers. He was also co-owner of Hill United Chiefs Ball Team. The friendships and memories he made through the game remained close to his heart throughout his life.
He cherished time spent with family and friends and will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. Bryan will always be remembered for his kind heart, quick wit, unforgettable sense of humour and the laughter he brought wherever he went.
The family will honour his life with a visitation at Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Thursday from 5-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 11am with burial to follow at his home, 3011 6th Line Rd., Ohsweken. www.rhbanderson.com
