Jensen, Betty (February 20, 1947-August 23, 2015).

Following a brave battle against cancer, Betty passed on peacefully at home with her family by her side. Much loved wife and best friend of Bryan. Cherished mother and friend of Stacey Jensen and Scott Woodward, and Melissa and Jeff Janssens. Adored grandmother of Paige and Brooke Janssens.

Daughter of the late Earle and Edith Bolton. Sister of Bob and Marion Bolton, Linda and Dave Sherk, Lois and the late David Johnson, Bill and Kathy Bolton, Marilyn and Gord Fair, and Rick and Dana Bolton and the late Julia Bolton. Daughter-in-law of the late Larry and Lorene Jensen. Sister-in-law of Carol and Ralph Akerstream. Beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.


Cremation has taken place. The family will honour Betty’s life with visitation at 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Thursday, August 27th at Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main Street South, Hagersville. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday, August 28th at The Dwelling Place, Springvale Brethren in Christ Church, 2602 Haldimand 55 Road, Hagersville.


In lieu of flowers, Betty would be honoured if you would like to make a donation in her memory to Ovarian Cancer Canada, 205-145 Front Street East Toronto, Ontario, M5A 1E3. www.ovariancanada.org.

Uncle Brian, Stacey, Melissa and your families. My deepest condolences to you all. You have been in my thoughts and prayers for a long time and i will continue to keep you there. I will always have great memories of Aunt Betty, from Wasaga Beach, Confederation Park and all the great family reunions we had. She will be truly missed.

We are so sad to hear the news. Betty was such a fun loving person to be around. Mom and her became really close when they were undergoing treatment together at the Jurvinski Centre. She was a fighter and always
kept a positive attitude. She will be missed.

Brian, mom and I were very distraught at hearing the news of Betty's passing, you and Betty have always meant a great deal to our whole family. A smile comes to my face when I recall the many laughs as well as the great family stories we shared whenever I was down your way and was able to make it over for a visit.
