At Anson Place, Hagersville on March 1, 2015 Bernice (Harvey) Sayer age 97 years, wife of the late Oliver Sayer, loving mother of David & Cheryl Sayer, & the late Ronald (Olive) & Allen (Cheryle), loving grandmother of Jodi-Lee & Terry, Lyndsay Jordan & Tim, Meredith & Bart, Bobbie-Laine, Gailynn & Chuck, Amy & Eric, & the late Christopher, great grandmother of Meadow, Brandon, Taylor, Hunter, Owen, James, Chloe, & Morgan, sister of the late Grace Tietz, Clarence Harvey, Arthur Harvey, Evelyn Gowan, Edwin & Harold Harvey. Bernice is a lifetime member of the order of the Eastern Star. The Family will honour Bernice’s life with a visitation at the Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd. 60 Main St. S. Hagersville 2-4 & 7-9pm Monday where Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday March 3, 2015 at 2pm. Interment Hagersville Cemetery. OES Service on Monday at 6:00 pm. Sorry we can't be with you are this sad time. Bernice would always stop and visit no mater were she was . At the store , on the street or maybe at the market . She sure gave away lots of hugs . Thinking of you all . Doug and Vera Greenfiels

David & Cheryl - We spoke with your mom on her birthday recently and she expressed her desire to go home. I'm glad to have had the opportunity to speak with her. She has lived a full life, and has been an Aunt who was special.She marks the end of her Harvey generation, and ends it well.I'm so sorry to see her go, but to hold on would only be selfish on my part. She leaves a wonderful legacy of children who will do well to live as she lived.Your family was special to us.
We won't be able to attend the funeral. Rick has just begun Home Hemodialysis and we're finding it very time consuming and tiring as we adjust, but our thoughts and prayers will be with you at this time.

Dear Dave, Cheryl & family:
It was with sadness that I heard of the death of your dear Mother. A real lady and a kind gentle soul. As a kid I always remember going to the store with my mother and Mrs. Sayer would always have time to ask how I was. This continued every time that I would see her. A legacy that Hagersville can be very proud of.
Heaven has gained another angel. May all of her wonderful memories sustain you at this time.

Dear Dave, Cheryl and Family. So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. She was a soft-spoken, gracious lady who always had a smile for us. We always had a little visit with her when we visited my sister Flo at Anson Place. She was a good friend to my Mom Rose and they both enjoyed each other's company at OES or at their homes. Our deepest sympathies at this sad time for your family.
