Maxine and family so very sorry to hear of Arts passing. He was.one of a kind . A great friend to many. He was a man who walked the talk and our community is now so much lesser and those who have gone before us so much richer. I was proud to call him my friend!

My sincere condolences to Maxine and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Art will be sadly missed by our people. It is absolutely heartbreaking how much knowledge he took with him. Thankfully he willingly shared his knowledge with anyone that wanted to learn. I am grateful for everyone who took the time to learn from Art so that we can carry on. I will miss that smile!

My condolences to Maxine and family.

A truly special man. We as a community were so lucky Art shared his knowledge with all wanting to learn.

Growing up here one of the things you learn is that if people like you, they will tease you, sometimes accompanied with a nickname. Was always shocked the number of people Art knew, and the number of people he would greet with a unique nickname, smile, and a laugh. He made everyone feel special.

Have fun singing with Lyle again my friend.
