Joseph “Arthur” Crossman

January 12, 1936 - December 2, 2025



At the West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville on Tuesday December 2, 2025 at the age of 89 years.  Predeceased by his wife Molly; parents Stephen & Annie; brothers Herb, Doug, and Don; sisters Roselee, Joyce, and Kathy.  Survived by his children Richard, Diane, Lisa, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his brother John.

Art was a 30 year employee with Ontario Hydro, volunteer firefighter, Councilman, sales representative for MacDonald Real Estate, member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Br.#164, St. Andrew’s Lodge #62, and Selkirk Baptist Church.

The family would like to thank Art’s caregiver Linda, and his good friends Wendy & Jamie for their help and support.

Cremation has taken place.  Family and Friends will gathering to honour his life at Hyde & Mott Chapel, 60 Main Street South, Hagersville on Saturday January 17, 2025 at 1 p.m. followed by a celebration of his life at the Royal Canadian Legion, Hagersville.  www.rhbanderson.com

My condolences to the Crossman family,as a member of Br.164 Hagersville, Arthur was a good friend to many,my Uncle John Prince worked with Art in Cayuga for Hydro,when are family picnic was held in the park Uncle John and Art would talk about working with Hydro, He will be missed R.I.P

I just want to say how sad we are to hear about Arts passing. To his family are thoughts and prayers. Art always gave me a big hug. He was a wonderful man like an uncle to me. He will be missed.
