Dear Glen and Gail,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Fifty years ago (!), I remember that between our house and yours, Parkview Road was one glorious back yard. Your mum was always so welcoming to the neighbourhood kids, and so tolerant of our noisy games - baseball, Red Rover, hide and seek, catch. And I believe there was some ice skating in there for good measure. I have nothing but the warmest of memories of her.
Please know you are in my thoughts.

Dear Gail and Glen,
I too am very sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I remember her with great fondness. Gail, she trusted me to wheel your baby carriage around the neighbourhood after school quite often---a thrill for me! She was always so gracious and warm. This games which Mary mentioned are a huge happy piece of my childhood too.
I will be thinking of you and your families. I know you will miss her dearly.

Agnes and I curled together quite often. In 1995, the Dr. Ridge bonspiel needed 1 more rink, so I asked Agnes if she would play 2nd for me. We were able to get Ruth Forrester to vice, and Helen Cummins to lead. We won the trophy. The next year we decided to defend our title. We won again, managing to get an overplus in each game. As seniors, we were happy and surprised by our good fortune. AGNES WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON, AND A DELIGHT TO BE WITH. Our deepest condolences to each of you.
