Aaron: William (Bill) Goldie
Passing away peacefully in his sleep, at the Iroquois Lodge, on Saturday, March 26th, 2016, in his 86th year. Loving Father to Vince and Cindy, the late Randy (infant), Deb and Isaac, and Tracy. Dear Grandfather to Magan, Ken, Isaiah, Liam, Thomas and Jordon. Dear Great Grandfather to John, Caleb, Bry and Haylee. Dear friend to Mary Ann and Tim. Son of the Late Ernie Aaron and Velma Barthel (nee Goode). Predeceased by his brother Lynn. He will also be greatly missed by his Iroquois Lodge family. Bill was an avid baseball player. He (and his brother Lynn) were well known for their pitching and played on the first Ohsweken Mohawks men’s fastball team. Bill also played on a Brant County tournament team, helping the team win the Junior Farmer Ontario Championship. Resting at his daughter Deborah’s home 7145 Townline Rd., Six Nations after 12 noon Monday. Interment Sour Springs Longhouse Cemetery on Tuesday, March 29, 2016.
