A loyal and committed family man passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at the age of 74.  Married to his love, Carolyn, for 54 years.  Caring father to Terry and Sandra and supportive grandfather to Owen, Austin and Keira Bilinsky.  Son of Charles and Eileen (deceased); loving brother to Jack and Lynn (both  deceased); and sister Donna Hayes (Keith).

Wayne was a dedicated and hard working individual and retired after 34 years of service as an Autobody Technician at Winegard Motors, Caledonia.

My condolences to the Boman family. I first got to know Wayne when he worked for my Dad Frank as a night shipper for Canada Bread on Mud St. in Hagersville. Wayne broke his hand during a sporting event, and my Dad hired me to help Wayne in the summer of 1969. I was impressed with his humor and honesty, and we soon became friends. A couple of times a week, we would have our work done early, then we would jump into his black '57 Belaire and drive to the all-night dinner in Canfield, where he would buy me breakfast. Two times a week we had to load the five-ton truck to make a seven AM delivery at the Dominion grocery store in Simcoe. Wayne taught me how to drive that big truck. Years later, I had Wayne do body work and paint a couple of my Mom's vehicles at his Dawson City shop. He did excellent work. I have nothing but good memories about the times we worked together and knew each other. Rest in Peace, my friend. I hope someday we meet again.
