Wade Donald Wilkins
July 26, 1960 - December 14, 2020
After a courageous 8 year battle with cancer Wade passed away peacefully at home in the presence of his family. Beloved son of the late Donald & Gertrude Wilkins (2009 & 2019). Wade was an amazing husband to his loving wife Lori-Anne (Fess), and nothing short of an incredible Bonus Dad to his three stepdaughters Tressia Sommer (Shaun), Tiara Shurr (Sullivan), and Rylee Sommer (Owen). Dear brother of Wray and his wife Shelly Wilkins, son-in-law of Lloyd & Leona Fess, brother-in-law of Jeff Fess, and Lisa Laviolette (Gerry). Wade will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and many friends. Special thanks to Dr. Hann and Dr. Lalani at the JCC, to his cousin Janeen Schaeffer for going above and beyond for our trips to the JCC. To Jenna from CBI Home Care for being an amazing palliative care nurse and to Dr. Mark Miller for his care and compassion especially during the final weeks of Wade’s journey. The family will honour his life with visitation at Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. where a private funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020. Interment Balmoral United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital or East Haldimand Hospice Inc. would be appreciated by the family. www.rhbanderson.com

Lori-Anne and family, we are so sorry for your loss. While we have not seen Wade for several years he was always friendly and I enjoyed talking to him. I will always remember him having a mischievous smile. Gone too soon but he is now at peace. Take care.
