Condolences to Val's children and family members.
Val and I met when we were in grade 4 at SS#8 and we have been friends and education colleagues for those many years. One of the things that I remember about Val wqw how she was always so neat and tidy about her person! Somehow during the Spring and Fall of our high school years, Val never seemed to get mud on her shoes while walking to the bus. I also recall that Val always had perfect hair, especially after her Mom became a hairdresser. The rest of us often had muddy shoes and frumpy hair but not Val!
Val spent many years working with the children of Six Nations and she was always well-respected by her colleagues, including me.
Val will be missed in our community. Rest well, my friend.

Sincere condolences to Val's family. Our paths crossed many times - ECG, OMS and in more recent years through tutoring. She was always willing to share kind words and was quick to smile. She was always fashionably dressed...and always neat and tidy as was her neatly written notes in our tutor binders. RIP Val your unwavering dedication to our kids and your kindness is already missed.
