My sincere condolences to the family and the community. We had the great honor to welcome her to the 5th World Congress on Agroforestry in Quebec City in 2022; she inspired a whole community of scientists and agroforestry practitioners... I keep her message and the message from the Kanyen’kehá:ka Tekarihoken close to my heart.

I had the privilege to get to know Terrylynn in the last year, she was a very inspiring person, whose influence was immense. She greeted us with her presence during Adaptation Future in Montreal, where her message and voice were strong and clear. A big loss for all of us. My sincere condolences to her family and community.

I was shocked when I ready "heavenly birthday" and then searched this up. We were in the midst of moving provinces and never saw or heard about your mom's passing. To me, this woman is a legend. The work, teachings and the wisdom she held as Seedkeeper was amazing. My fondest memory is from about 10 yrs ago when our mcIntosh tree had an incredible amount of fruit and I posted asking people to please come and take as many apples as you can. Your mom came and when she found out our tree was almost 100 yrs old she decided to plant seeds and grow more trees. The last time we chatted she said some of our trees "offspring" were heading to NY. Your mom was a pillar and will be absolutely missed. Much love to you all.
