Terry Wm. Lockhart
March 21, 1957 - October 4, 2024
Passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents Andrew & Helen (Hicks) Lockhart; brothers Rick and Paul. Survived by his son Adrian; brothers Robert (Ruth), and David, and sister Bev (Ed). He will be missed by uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, great nephews, great nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, mother-in-law (Ina), “her favourite son-in-law” he said (she only had one), and many good friends. He leaves behind his wife & best friend of 36 years, Sue.
Those of you who knew Terry, know that he never did anything half way. It was always pushed over the limit. He loved a challenge. He was proud to have met 3 of his 5 grandchildren, and called them his super models.
Terry was a proud, long standing member of Millwright Local 2309 and before retiring ventured to Local 1021 Saskatchewan and Local 1460 in Alberta. Millwrighting and Local 2309 were his passion. He took his knowledge beyond, always modifying or “re-inventing the wheel” to make things work.
Terry’s other passion was spending time at his home on Lake Erie where he loved to cook perch and pickerel for family and friends. Terry had a huge heart and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. “R.I.P., Hartley Snarp”.
At Terry’s request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements by Hyde & Mott Chapel, Hagersville. www.rhbanderson.com
