Surrounded by loved ones at Brantford General Hospital on Sunday December 21, 2025 at the age of 73 years. Beloved wife of 49 years to Kevin. Loving mother of Neil, Audrey & Mike, Tanya, Kerri Anne & Alex, and Derek. Dear Grandma of Randy & Shannon, Kamron, Justice, Jadyn, Isaiah, Joshua, Terrell, Zachary, Evan, Bentley, Alexis, Denali, Oakley, Leona, Shaylee, Charlina, and Shaylayna. Great grandma of Ryder, Talon, and Noah. Sister of Iris & Bill, and Laurie. Sister-in-law of Renie, Lucille & Bill, Raymond, Kelly & Cindy, Darryl & Lana, Tony & Lana, and George. Auntie to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Russell Hess and Laura Davis; sister, Eleanor, Stella, Jennie, Maxine, and Wendy; brothers, Gary, Dave Dawg, and Johnny; mother-in-law, Leona and father-in-law, Herman; special sister-in-law, Pebbles “Red”; brothers-in-law, Ronald, and Vernon and sister-in-law Lorraine.
Saldawg was an avid baseball fan and player and had a passion for singing and playing Bluegrass music. She will be dearly missed by all her special friends and family.
Resting at her home 465 3rd Line, Ohsweken after 1 p.m. Tuesday. Evening Service 7 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Service will be held at her home on Wednesday December 24, 2025 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. Arrangements by Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken. www.rhbanderson.com

Im so saddened by this, Sal was my friend since Grade 8, played ball against her back in the day too. Enjoyed her laughter when she was driving the school bus for I. L. Thomson and I saw her everyday then. Rest in paradise my friend. I'll always remember you.❤️

My Sincerest Condolences to Keven, Neil, Audrey, Tanya, Kerri and Turk and all the grand kids that Sal loved so much, & to all Sal's many friends.. Sal was my best friend for 60+ years and I'm sure gonna miss her.. I know she's gone but I don't want to believe it!!! I know I will eventually get thru it at some point.. BUT she'll always have a special place in my heart right next to my mom, sisters and brothers.. Rest in piece Martha!!! I shall love you & remember you always & forever...R.I.P. buddy!!!

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Sal’s passing.
She has been a friend I remembered from all my school days,
riding the bus, going to sports events, dances, and just everyday life.
She was never without a friendly laugh and kind word of catch up.
May her spiritual journey allow her to soar high.
She will be so missed,

I have the pleasure of working with Sal while she drove bus for ILThomas school. You could always count on her for her timely safe arrival of the children. She cared deeply for all the kids in all her years driving . RIP Sal
