Passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at West Haldimand General Hospital on Monday November 2, 2015 in his 94th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Betty, cherished father of Dalia, Monica Looper (Al Hietapakka), Vita (Ivan Beals), Valdemar (Nella), and Romualda (Leda) and a treasured grandfather and great grandfather.
Romas and Betty were married over 60 years ago raising their family in the Haldimand area. Romas retired from Livingston Industries 29 years ago and during his retirement years he busied himself with many hobbies. His honesty, loyalty, and dependability will be missed. The family wishes to thank the home care providers and medical staffs at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and the West Haldimand General Hospital. A Mass for Romas will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hagerville (94 Main Strret S) on Friday November 6 at 11:00 AM followed by a reception at the church.
