 Robert “Bobby” Cameron Sault
June 6, 1960 - October 7, 2023

Bob transitioned peacefully into the Spirit World on Saturday, October 7, 2023 encircled by wife, Jessica, family and friends. Due to untreated TB in Day School and the onslaught of pneumonia, Bob’s lungs shut down. Waiting for him in Spirit World at “home plate” were his parents, Allan & Mary Sault, his brothers Harry Jay, Fats, Art, Garry, Pete, sister Mary, nephews Dewey & Marshall, and nieces Fiona & Donna. To embrace his teachings, love and kindness on Mother Earth is wife, Jessica and all his west coast family and friends. He was a strong, handsome and funny brother to Judy (Terry), Abby (Marnee), Char, Dorothy-Lee, Larry (Sonya), Martha, Shelley, Claire (Darrell) and Dale (Mike). Bob’s kindness, wisdom and caring nature created an example of trust and love for his nieces & nephews, from the west coast to the east coast. They will remember and treasure his teachings.

Bob was born with a natural talent for pitching, He often said ‘it saved his life”.  He loved, lived and breathed this sport from 8 to 55 years old. Trophies and medals were many but Bob cherished the comradery and challenge. He was humble as he was talented. His team mates became his brothers as he believed they were all brothers from a different mother.

Bob left Ontario in his 20’s and became captivated by Jessica and made his home on the west coast. Jessica’s family became his family and he learned the powerful traditions that lead all First Nations culture. It was this culture that brought him into Spirit World with peace and a smile on his face.

Bob’s wishes were to be cremated and have his ashes sacredly scattered over the Pacific Ocean, the baseball field in Victoria and beside the brothers he loved so much who have gone before him.

The family will honour Bob with a celebration of life on Saturday, October 14 at the Mississaugas of the Credit Community Centre beginning at 1:00pm. Reception to follow.

Sincere condolences to Jessica and all the families, Bob will always be remembered, he enjoyed sports especially ball, called us to see how we were doing, always was pleasant and happy. Sent us some salmon from out west. Treasure all the good memories. With love from Uncle Cecil and Aunt Bonnie Davis and all the Davis families.

I want to acknowledge that my Uncle Bob also has a son on the West Coast, Zachary. His legacy and our family tree will live on through his athletic son. Uncle Bob was a gifted athlete. I used to love watching him play ball. Rest in Peace.
