Rick (Jake) Jacobs

It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Rick (Jake) Jacobs, a loving Dad, and proud Grandpa. Surrounded by family and friends he passed away in his home Mar. 25 at the age of 71.  Rick was a kind-hearted man who found joy in training racehorses, playing music, cracking jokes and watching sports. He leaves behind a legacy of strength and resilience. He is survived by his children Jayme Jacobs and Charlotte Morritt-Jacobs (Alex Perrett), and grandkids Dezmund Jacobs, Arlo Perret and Macklin Perrett.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Hagersville Legion on Mar. 29 at 1 pm.

A special thanks to homecare nurse Clysen and PSW Jesse, Dr. Fasano and the Movement Disorder Clinic. He will forever remain in our hearts.  Arrangements by Hyde & Mott Chapel, Hagersville.  www.rhbanderson.com

He sounds like an amazing human, Can only imagine he was a gem when I see the beautifully talented and awesome daughter he raised and I am the pleasure of being friends with. May he rest in peace until you meet him again charlotte, and may all the good memories of him bring you and your family joy and peace in your times of grief. Charlotte this post and the Celebration of Life Party announcement are such a great testament to your Dad, but a reflection of you.
I am so sorry for this profound loss. I did not get to meet him, but I look forward to hearing stories and photos of your Dad next time we are together. Rob and I send our love.
