June 6, 1934 - July 17, 2025


We are saddened to announce the passing of our Mother, Gma. Loving wife of 69 years to Donald Skye, mother to Lesley, Vince & Lorie, Donald Jr., (Pete) & Wendy, Lyle (Cook) & Stacey, Andrea (deceased), Corey. Gma to Rushton & Trisha, Krissy, Kate, Spencer, Andrew, Joe, Lacey, Dylan, Dusty & Rachael. Great Gma to April, Mya, Avry, Alex, Lil Bob, Tyson, Emma, and Ivan. Predeceased by parents Joseph & Kate Bomberry, siblings Elenor, Clifford, Palsey, and Clara. Rena was fiesty with a quick wit and was never lost for words. We will miss the one-liners that made her, her. She was an avid golfer with club championship status. No one could hit the ball straighter. You could count on Rena for good advice on the course if you ever needed it. Family was important to her and we will all cherish the time we had together. Resting at 2186 Tuscarora Road Friday at 8 pm until Sunday at 11 am. Burial at Cayuga’s Longhouse on Sunday July 20, 2025. Arrangements by Styres Funeral Home www.rhbanderson.com

So sorry to hear of Rena's passing. I have so many memories of her, she was our neighbor on 5th line when I was a child. I thought she was the prettiest woman I ever saw.

Don and children. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I'm thankful she taught me to make apple dumplings among other things. She was a great lady and will be missed.

May this amazing feisty women R.I.P.
I was honoured to have met and been able to spend time with her.
She shared so many family memories and Golf stories with me,
She loved her cat Dolly. She took pride in herself and her heritage.
