February 25, 1932 - September 27, 2023


Peacefully at West Haldimand General Hospital, surrounded by his family in his 92nd year after a short battle with cancer.  Beloved husband of Rika (2012).  Loving father of Anet (Lyle), Betty, and Ken.  Cherished grandfather of Candace (Rob), Jennifer (Warren), and Amber.  Great grandfather of Robert.  Pieter was a lifetime farmer and took great pride in his crops.  We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for their excellent care at West Haldimand General Hospital.


The family will honour his life with visitation at Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes, 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Friday from 6-8 pm. where Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 10:30 am.  Interment Bethel Cemetery, Kohler.

Our sincere condolences to Pieter’s family. He was a neighbour for many years and in later years Harold enjoyed stopping in to have a visit with Pieter. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time.

my condolences to you and the rest of the family. Have many memories visiting with you and your parents. As a child staying for a week for summer vacation and or the many parties your parents held . I know my mom would have loved to go to the funeral as we often speak of the times visiting but unfortunately I have to work. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers at this time
