Passed away peacefully at the Iroquois Lodge, Ohsweken on Wednesday August 31, 2016 at the age of 89 years. Wife of the late Graham. Loving mother of Leslie, Leona, Lonnie, Lawrence & Bridie, Jean, Beverley, and Victor & Harvarena. Beloved Nana of 27 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Ruby, Mary Lou, and Pauline. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Lorne (Marjorie); grandson, Dallas, granddaughter, Tammy-Jo; great granddaughters, Tamara, and Olivia; parents, Austin & Bessie (Battice) Brant; and siblings, Donald, Robert, Jacob, Jean, Marjorie, Percy, Elna, Sidney, and Claybourne. My condolences to all the family. Philnese and I became close over the years and I had the opportunity to take her shopping and out for lunch a couple of times. I was honored that she trusted me so much. May knowing others are thinking of you at this time give you strength. She is now with all the love ones she lost and missed. R.I.P. my friend I will always remember the talks we had over tea.
