August 30, 1963 - April 22, 2025
Surrounded by friends at the Montforte Hospital, Ottawa on Tuesday April 22, 2025 a the age of 61 years. Son of the late Robert “Bob” & Wilma (VanEvery) Garlow. Loving brother of Kelly (friend Conrad), Wayne, Karen (Rob), Greg (Kelly), and the late John, and Larry. Dear uncle to Dennis, Robin, Hollie, Gregory, Terrell, Zachary, John, Allen, and Maura. Great uncle to Brianna, Jayden, Dennis Junior, Alia, Nicholas Jr., Honey, Michael (Kermit), Shayanna, and Milton Jr. Special nephew of Vera, and Norma. Also survived by numerous cousins.
Funeral Service will be held at Styres Funeral Home, 1798 4th Line, Ohsweken on Monday April 28, 2025 at 1pm. (visitation from 11 am. until service time). Interment Medina Baptist Cemetery. I have only known Paul a short time. We met playing duplicate bridge. He was/is my friend. I was with him on Tuesday morning when the doctor told him there was nothing more they could do for him and they would keep him comfortable in his final hours. I am Thankful I was there and he was not alone. I shall remember Paul as a funny, intelligent proud Indigenous man who always said Thank You for all the little things I did or said. It is me who should have thanked him for being a part of my life.

I express my deepest sympathy in this time of grief. The Bible gives a comforting hope that your loved one will soon live again on a beautiful paradise earth when death will be no more in John 5:28, 29.
