Olive Rosena Cree
July 7, 1940 - November 12, 2021
Passed away peacefully at her daughter’s cottage in her 81st year on Friday, November 12, 2021. Sadly missed by daughter Christine Cree-Anderson and husband Robert; son, Stephen Cree and wife Angela; grandchildren, Sarah, Adam, Shannon, Nolan, Mitchell, and Spencer; great grandson’s Blake, and Colton. Lovingly remembered by siblings Avril Castles, Stewart Beattie, Frank Beattie, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Rod Beattie, Sadie Hasselberger, Johnny Beattie, and Helen McKeag. Many thanks to the staff at Stedman’s Hospice Outreach Community team. A special note of thanks to mum’s palliative nurse Jenna, and evening shift PSW Susan. A memorial service will be held at Hyde & Mott Chapel, 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at the Hagersville Community Centre. (Proof of vaccination is required). Cremation has taken place and Olive is resting with her husband Albert Cree at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
