Noelle Teal

Without skipping a beat, on October 15, 2022, cherished daughter and deeply loved sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, Noelle Teal, won her final race as she crossed the finish line through heaven’s gates into the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Noelle was born on July 13, 2002, in Hamilton Ontario. She was a most welcomed and long anticipated 2nd daughter to Chris and Miranda and precious baby sister to Charissa and later an adored big sister to Kiana.

She was born with a zest for life and spunk in her personality. Noelle loved life! From the time she could talk she asked, "why do we sleep? There’s too much to do!" She packed everything she could into a day and never missed an opportunity for a new adventure.

Noelle was the Lord’s willing servant and she took this very seriously. From a young age, she joined her church worship team and enriched all of our lives with her angelic voice. Noelle was active in her youth group and deeply grew to love the Lord through her mission trips. Most recently, this past summer, she travelled to the Yukon to share the gospel of Jesus at Watson Lake Kids Camp and deeply impacted many lives there. Her most treasured possession, her Bible, went with her everywhere she went, and served to be her guiding light  and safe haven. What joy we can all share, knowing she is in glory and living her best life yet.

Noelle was intuitive, empathetic and nonjudgmental. The Lord had given her a heart of compassion and grace and from a very young age she used it to show God’s love to everyone she met. She loved everyone. And in return everyone loved her. Noelle’s heart’s desire was for everyone to know Jesus like she did and come alongside her in her most meaningful race. "And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." Hebrews 12:1-3

Yes! Noelle loved to race. She loved to be fast and she loved to win! Noelle will be deeply missed by her family, friends and racing community. She has won her final race and has received her most treasured reward, her crown of glory.

Left to grieve are her mom and dad, Chris and Miranda, and her two sisters: Charissa (22) and  Kiana (15). Grandparents: Gary & Shirley Teal and Bert & Nolda Hoekert. Aunts and Uncles: Dana & Jordan Gooderham, Claudia & Richard Aukema, Hendriette & Shawn Beswitherick, and JJ & Kim Hoekert.  Dear cousins: Maddison & Josiah Rizzo and Ashton & Rebecca Gooderham; Xander, Esme, & Emiel Aukema; Bianca, Ronan, & Shane Beswitherick; Jorja & Jolene Hoekert. Special great aunt and uncle: Lori & Dave Ingrassia. And many friends.

Noelle was always a shining soul, even from a young age. She was a bright light in my Sunday school classes and she will truly be missed. I hope her soul’s next adventures are even more exciting than the ones she had on Earth. Much love to the Teal family. Wish I could be there to celebrate her life

Noel will be missed and most importantly will never be able to be replaced. She was the only girl that would understand what it’s like to live and wake up with the joy and happiness like she did. She never let anything get in her way and one thing her and I had in common growing up was the fact neither of us could sit for more then 5 minutes without talking and I had a bond with her that I haven’t had with anyone els and growing up with someone with the same things as you and always being the joy and light in the room is one way for me to remember her by. Will deeply miss you Noel but it’s ur time and wheel see each other again.

We are so deeply sorry for your loss and we are holding your whole family close in our prayers. Noelle was an incredible young women who left her mark on all those she touched in a way that takes others a lifetime to do, she accomplished it in so few years. Heaven gained a beautiful angel but her mark here on earth was a great one.

To the Teal family.
Our deepest condolences to all of you. Noelle was definitely a blessing from God. She touched everyone she came in contact with. She had an amazing attitude towards life and Loved Everyone.
I have many fond memories of her helping us with parades and I had the pleasure of watching her race from the beginning of her career. I was so pleased to see her race my nephews car in Merritt. She was so grateful for the opportunity and she was loved by all those she raced with.
Noelle…you have won the biggest race of your life….you made it to Heaven and received the checked flag as she walked through the gates of Heaven!
God speed sweet Angel. You will never be forgotten. Watch out over everyone!
Gone to soon but you left a huge impact on many.
Fly high sweet Angel. We will see you again one day.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Noelle's Family and friends. Knowing how strong her faith in her Lords was, I pray that it brings comfort in days ahead. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discourages, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9

“I am the resurrection and the life.
Those who believe in me,
even though they die, will live,
and everyone who lives and believes

Dear Chris&Miranda, Gary&Shirley, Charissa&Kiana, and Hoekert family,
We can’t imagine the grief you are going through in the loss of your precious Noelle. We also can’t imagine what she is experiencing now as she is welcomed by her Lord and Saviour. We continue to pray that you would know the Lord’s nearness in this most difficult time. He is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18
