Nick Firmani
February 5, 1948 - October 21, 2023
We announce the sudden passing of Nick on October 21, 2023 with family by his side. Nick was the loving husband of Pat (Stark) for 51 years full of love, laughs, golf, karaoke, summers at the trailer and escapes to sunny Florida. He was a devoted father to Dan & Jessica Firmani, and Jenni & Mark D’Angela. Cherished Papa to his grand children Nolan, Sadie, Tori, and Brad. Nick’s story began in Italy and then immigrated with his parents Aida and Donato and siblings to Hagersville in 1958. Nick is the brother of Lou and Karon Firmani, Mary and Jopie Vandyk and Bruna and Gary Hoover. Son-in-Law to the late Clifford & Marion Stark, dearest Brother-in-law to Doug & Gerrianne Stark, and Mary & Blake Eady. Nick will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Nick shared many laughs defeating many in Bocce at annual Family Reunions. Nick was a thoughtful, kind-hearted soul who enjoyed volunteering in his community for various clubs and events. He spent many years coaching and refereeing soccer in Haldimand. He was instrumental in contributing to the establishment of the Haldimand Youth Soccer Association which his children and grandchildren eventually participated. For the past 10 years Nick was a member of the Gentlemen of Harmony Simcoe Chapter enjoying many friendships and activities over the years.
Special thanks to the staff at West Haldimand General Hospital. If desired donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Visitation at Hyde & Mott Chapel, 60 Main Street South, Hagersville on Wednesday evening 6-8pm where a Memorial service will be held on Thursday October 26, 2023 at 11am. Cremation has taken place per Nicks wishes. Arrangements by R.H.B Anderson Funeral Homes. www.rhbanderson.com

Pat , I have just heard of Nicks passing . Our condolences to you and your family. Just yesterday I was telling my wife how great it was to live on Hewitt Drive in Hagersville. My mum always loved seeing you and Nick when she went shopping in town. Sending you hugs from the Hampson family.
