Nelles "Randy" Henry, Sr., 62, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Brantford, Ontario, he was the son of the late Nelles Doxtator and Marilyn (Henry) Latour, and the stepson of the late John Latour.

Randy, as he was affectionally known as, moved to Niagara Falls, NY, with his family as a teenager, where he attended local schools. On May 28, 2009, he married his beloved wife Cheryl Henry at the First Presbyterian Church in Niagara Falls. Randy was employed by the New York State Parks for several years prior to his retirement. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, and was a proud supporter of Every Child Matters, Canada’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, as well as a 4:20 advocate. Devoted to his Christian faith, Randy cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren above all else.

In addition to his parents, Randy was predeceased by his wife, Cheryl in 2018, his daughter, Tanya Marie Zimmerman, his grandson, Logan Alexander, and three siblings, Annette Henry, Angela Henry, and Dwayne Henry.  He is survived by his children, Angela (Frank) Henry-Cooper, Amanda Henry, Ariana (Al) Bax, Andrea (John) Henry-Beedy, Nelles R. (Tina) Henry Jr., and Alidia (Charles) Petroziello. Randy was a loving papa to 15 grandchildren and is also survived by his four siblings, Eva Henry, Lauren Henry, Shawna Henry, and Jacquelyn Moyer-Henry, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at STYRES FUNERAL HOME, 1798 4th Line, Ohsweken, ON.,  and on Friday, February 21, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow at North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria, NY.  Memorial offerings may be made to the American Lung Association at lung.org.
