Peacefully passed away at home, with family at his side, on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at the age of 68. Beloved partner of Kim Anthony. Loving dad of Ted, and Teri Lynn & Paul Connors. Step-dad to Dwayne & Jenny White, Erica White & Josh Bomberry, and Bird & Candace White. Adored papa to Kendal, Mackenzie, Dekota, Taylin, Dacey, Ainsley, Colt, and Violet. Mitchell is also survived by sister Dale Martin and brother David “Tony” Martin, as well as mother of Ted and Teri Lynn, Dorothy Ann Martin and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends and relatives. Predeceased by parents, Nelson & Louise Martin; brothers, Nelson, and Gerald, and sister Barbara. Mitchell has always been known to make people laugh all the time with his care and kindness, always willing to lend a helping hand to others. His laugh will always be remembered, to all who knew him. The family will honour his life with visitation at the Styres Funeral Home, 1798 4th. Line, Ohsweken on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 11, 2016 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Hugs to you Kim and to all who loved Mick. So glad I stopped in to visit with you guys when I did ...even if it was just a quick hello, the joke he played on that nurse was priceless. Mick's hilarious sense of humor will always and forever BE and I am sure he will show you that from time to time. Condolences to you and to you and Mick's family.
