Michael (Mike) Charles Gee

January 13, 1955 - November 10, 2022

With broken hearts we say goodbye to a loving husband, father, and papa surrounded by his family he peacefully slipped away on November 10th 2022, in his 68th year, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He leaves his wife of 45 years Cheryl, his devoted daughters Lynda and Rachel and his beautiful granddaughter Hayley.

Mike is predeceased by his parents David and Blanche (Kindree) and brother Ken and sister in laws Bev and Lois. Loving brother of Douglas (Bonnie), Donald, Murray (Pat), Joan (Bill), Kathy (Bob), Shirley (David), Mary (Randy) and Susan and cherished uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Mike retired in 2015 as a proud member of the Operating Engineers Union 793.  Although Mike enjoyed running all types of heavy equipment, he was an infamous bulldozer operator.

Mike was a member of the Fisherville Fire Department for ten years and a long-time volunteer supporting Fisherville Minor Ball. He enjoyed being outside during warmer months working on various projects. Mike was an avid hunter and spent many hours designing and building in his wood shop in the colder months before heading off to Texas as a Canadian Snowbird.

Visitation will be held at Hyde & Mott Chapel or RHB Anderson Funeral Homes, 60 Main Street South, Hagersville on Monday, November 14th 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fisherville on Tuesday, November 15th at 11:00am. Arrangements by Hyde & Mott Chapel. www.rhbanderson.com

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the amazing staff at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their exceptional care and support. As an expression of sympathy donations can be made to Bob Kemp Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society.

I send my sincere condolences during this time of sorrow. The Bible gives a real hope and it promises that your loved one will soon live again in a peaceful paradise on the earth where death will be no more. (John 5:28, 29; Acts 24:15; Revelation 21:4)

Heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family.
Remeber Uncle Mike and Aunt Cheryl were always the 'fun' parents when we went to play with Lynda and Rachel growing-up. Will never forget Uncle Mike's voice and laugh.

Cheryl, Rachel, Lynda and Hayley, my sincere condolences. Mike and I spent a lot of time together as volunteer firefighters, he was a good friend and a great pump operator. Mike was the kind of person that is important if small towns like Fisherville are going to be successful.

Sincerely, Rudy and Sharon Cronk
