LICKERS:  Luella Doreen

Peacefully at her home on Six Nations, on Wednesday July 21, 2021, Luella Doreen Lickers (Hill) at the age of 88.  Beloved wife of Vincent Lickers deceased, and loving mother of Vincent Lickers Jr. (Joanne), Glen, Wayne (Angel), Robert (deceased), Deb (Dave), Richard (Shana), Elmer (Carole), Greg (Deb), Larry (deceased), Marilyn and Derek. Loving and adored Nanny of 19 grandkids and 20 great grand children. Also will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by loving grandson Christopher. Parents Elmer & wife Muriel Hill, siblings Morgan, (Anna Mae), Florence (Joe), Kay (Mel), Marion, Min (Glen), and Eldon (Wilma). Luella was a loving dedicated wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She was also a special great aunt to her extended family in Massachusetts. She devoted her life to love and nurtured those whom she cherished. She will be greatly missed by all left behind but surely welcomed by those whom have gone on ahead, her husband Vincent, her sons and her many relatives. Many have said “she was the strongest woman they have ever known”. Medical staff led by Dr. Montour all went above and beyond to care for our mom, there are no words enough said for how they cared for our mom in her own home were she wanted to spend her last days. You are all greatly appreciated and the ones who were by her side day and night Marilyn & Derek who were there 24-7, you are greatly appreciated. Arrangements by Styres Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. www.rhbanderson.com
