Lois "Lovie" Clause-Morey

March 28, 1959 – December 14, 2025

Lois Clause-Morey passed away on December 14, 2025, leaving behind a family and community forever changed by her warmth, laughter, and boundless generosity.
Lois met the love of her life, Ross Edward Morey, in 1978. They were married in 1986 and built a life rooted in family, joy, and togetherness.

She was a devoted mother to Katie (Justin), Jennifer (Susanne), Holly (Jeff), and Emily, and a proud and loving grandmother to Hailey Goodall, Harrison Morey, and Everley Morey. Lois truly loved all the babies in the family. Children were naturally drawn to her, and she never missed a chance to spoil them with affection.

Lois was the life of every get-together, the steady smile, the shared laugh, the song waiting to be sung. She loved karaoke, bingo, and trips to the casino, and she treasured summer vacations spent with her family. Lois had a giving heart; she would give the shirt off her back without hesitation and never expected anything in return.

She is survived by her siblings Marla (Stan), Wilma, Ruby, Harry, Karen (Steve), Elizabeth, Nick (Rae) and Virginia (Scoot), and will be missed by her in-laws Doon, Ralph, James, Roy, and Carol. Lois is also survived by her cousin and special friend, Mary Smith.

Lois was predeceased by her parents Harry and June Clause; her siblings Norma Clause, Don Greene, and Barbara Hill; her niece and nephews Ginnilee Towes, Ashton Vanevery, and Marty Towes; and her mother-in-law Rita Morey, brothers-in-law Ed Towes, Marty Miller, Snip Hill, Bill Passfield, and sisters-in-law Rosemary Morey and Rhonda Morey.

Her laughter, kindness, and presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The family will honour her life with visitation at Styres Funeral Home, 1798 4th. Line, Ohsweken on Wednesday from 12 - 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday December 18, 2025 at 11 a.m. Interment Oakhill Cemetery, Brantford. www.rhbanderson.com

I'm sorry I didn't get to see her more over the years. She was a treasured friend. We attended Brunos school of hairdressing and lived at the YMCA in Hamilton in the late 70's. My love goes out to all who loved her. Sincerely, Ellen Ogg-McLean.
