Linda June Couture
June 14, 1944 - March 17, 2026
Linda Couture passed away peacefully in her sleep at Norfolk General Hospital in Simcoe on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the age of 81.
Linda was the beloved wife of the late Mario Couture and a devoted mother to Scott VanBeek. She was a loving grandmother to Amber (Paul) Bidinost, Zachary VanBeek, and Harrison VanBeek, and a proud Gigi to Liam and Jack Bidinost, who brought her endless joy.
She will be dearly missed by her brother Doug (Wendy) McRae, and was predeceased by her sisters Verna Harris and Donna Fairman. Linda was also predeceased by her parents, Mel and Edith, whom she loved deeply. She leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews.
Linda found great happiness in her family, who were always at the center of her life. She created many lasting friendships during her years at P&G, where she met her dear friends Jan and Bev. She had a special place in her heart for all of her beloved dogs and cats over the years.
Linda had a zest for life and found joy in travelling on cruises, hosting memorable gatherings, and especially decorating her home and yard at Christmastime, which she did with pride and creativity.
Cremation has taken place.
Linda will be remembered for her warm heart, her love of family, and the joy she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. www.rhbanderson.com
