Joyce Irene Voyer   nee: Beacroft

In the evening hours of September 16, 2023, at the age of 82, our beloved Joyce Irene Voyer danced through the gates of heaven.

Wife of 30 beautiful years to Ed; mother to four children: Diane (Randy Elms), Karen, Russ (Catherine Beaurivage) and Steven (Catharine Southworth); grandma to Jason, Jeff, Kerina, Chanel, Christopher, Meghan, Dean, Maggie, Joslyn, Payton and Alyssa; great grandma to Travis, Cailyn, Owen, Ryder, River, Teegan, Ryleigh, Kason, Vivian, Sophia and Wyatt.

Predeceased by her parents Bill and Jesslyn Beacroft, her siblings Beverly and Ronny, her daughter in law, Karen Lisa, and her dear childhood friends Elaine and Kathy.  Joyce will also be sorrily missed by all her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Joyce was a vivacious spirit and a true embodiment of her namesake “joy”. Known by many for her love for cooking, dancing,  basking in the sunshine, driving convertibles, and enjoying the occasional shopping spree. She will be forever remembered for her contagious laughter and the countless hours she spent serving others at kids camps, nursing homes, church, and even on mission trips to Haiti.

The family will honour her life with visitation at Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes, 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Friday from 6-8 pm.  Funeral Service will be held at The Dwelling Place Be In Christ Church, 2602 Haldimand Rd. 55, Springvale on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11 am.  Cremation to follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.   www.rhbanderson.com

Aunt Joyce to this family.
Joyce was my moms (Beverley) sister and best friend. Those two were a treat, something to admire, and something to embolden .
Condolences to all who loved her.
I’m betting the story’s of her and the teller will be full of smiles and never ending .
Alzheimer’s is a nasty one who needs its arse booted from humanity.
I saw the efforts and dedication that is the new high bar. Hats off to Uncle Ed

Joyce was an exuberant joyful woman who lived life to the fullest. I’ll always picture her laughing or dancing or cooking up something special for her family and friends.
My condolences to her family, and especially to Ed, whose love and devotion knows no depths.
