Joseph Leslie Johnson

April 18, 1957 - January 10, 2026

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our loving husband, dad, papa, uncle, and friend, Joe. Joe will be deeply and immensely missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Pat; his beloved daughter Kim (Zerrie); his son Joey; his cherished granddaughter Kimari; and his fur-baby, Belle. Joe also leaves behind his siblings: Lonnie (late Mary), Bud (Rock, late Ruby), Dolly, and Dip (Toni). He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Joe has been reunited with his mother Laura (Hill), his father Fred (Johnson), his brothers Frank, Bill, John and his sisters Do (Betty), Belva and Minnie.
An avid hunter and fisherman, Joe found great joy in the outdoors, especially hunting alongside his son. He was incredibly proud of his life’s work as a retired member of the Local 18 Carpenters Union and loved taking drives, pointing out the buildings and projects he helped create. Joe’s wit, charm, and sense of humor brought laughter to every room. He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love for family, and the stories and smiles he shared so freely. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He will be resting at his his home, 2654 2nd Line after 5pm on Sunday. Funeral service will be at Hyde and Mott Funeral home, 60 Main St. South Hagersville on Tuesday January 13, 2026 at 11am. Arrangements by Styres Funeral home. www.rhbanderson.com
