We went fishing in the old creek more times than I can remember. I had a nice visit with John a few weeks ago

Sending our sympathy to you Laurie and family.
I remember one day 2 years ago I had the grandchildren playing outside in the front yard. John turned around and came back and apologized for driving by too fast. He was a great giy. Hugs

Heartfelt sympathies and my deepest condolences go out to the entire family for the loss of your beloved John. “Those we love don’t go away, They walk beside us everyday, Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear”. I worked with John over at Reimar on many projects, excellent Forming Carpenter, Loved his humor, hardwork, a guy I could count on, always lead by example. Just a first class guy. Glad he enjoyed some years of retirement out there. R.I.P Johnny

Dearest Laurie and family,
Words are not enough to convey what we feel in your great loss. Even though we are on the other side of the world presently, know that you are close in thoughts and prayers. We are are so thankful for the wonderful times of fellowship that we had together over the last number of years in our home group and adult Bible study. We also cherish all the visits and walks we had together. When we think of John, we remember his love for woodworking, gathering of hickory nuts, his love for old tractors and country living. Above all, he will be remembered for his devotion to God , His wife, and his family. We cherished our friendship and he will be dearly missed. We pray that the Lord will give you His comfort and strength in the difficult days that are ahead. This verse reminds us of John. 1 Thessalonians 4:11

Dearest family WE are saddened to hear of John's passing. He was a wonderful student of mine in the Carpentry shop at CSS in the late 60s. When John retired, he came to Burlington to present me with a Union Cap as we had both belonged to the same Union and we had the same God on our side. For those who are left God will sustain you. My sincere condolences to those who are left.
