 Joan Elizabeth Huber   nee: Heaslip

 
Peacefully passed away in her sleep on Monday, August 1, 2022 in her 91st year.  Reunited with the love of her life John Henry Huber.  Loving mother of John “Lee” & Bonnie, Margaret & William Blake, Katherine & John Vanderkeemel, and Melissa & Todd Stapleton.  Dear grandma of Jill & Joe, Jeremy & Stephanie (both deceased), Ryan & Melissa, Jennifer & Kevin, Karen & Mark, Janice & Jason, Amy, James & Kristin, Sarah & Jeff, Samantha & Sal, and 22 great grandchildren.  Sister of the late Linda Cooney, and Kenneth Heaslip.  Sister-in-law of the late Mary & Glenn Buckner, and June & Ray Everets.  Fondly Remembered by many nieces & nephews.  Joan was a lifetime member of the Selkirk Christian Chapel and enjoyed quilting, making wedding cakes, sewing, knitting, and crocheting in her spare time.  Funeral service will be held at the Hyde & Mott Chapel, 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Friday August 5, 2022 at 11 am. (Visitation one hour prior to service). Interment Sweets Corners Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation, West Haldimand General Hospital Foundation or the Norfolk Reach Program.

May Joan Rest In heavenly Peace. She was a wonderful lady! I loved all the cakes she made years ago. I used to enjoy calling her on weekends and we would go back and forth working on the Saturday crossword puzzles. Prayers, healing hugs and condolences to the family.
