To the Herkimer families….. my wife Kathy and I offer our deepest sympathies on the loss of such a great guy. As many said Jim had a bit of a rough outer texture but his heart was made of gold. Many years of working at CGC with Jim showed me the real person inside and he will be missed. Lots of good memories! RIP!

Judy, Chris, Kacy, Larry and families: I only learned today of Jim's passing. My sincere, heartfelt condolences to you all. Our families go back a long way to White Oaks Village. Jim was a funny, quick witted man with a heart of gold for those he cared for, which were many. Time has a way of separating dear friends but your family is one I will always remember. I remember a number of funny times when we lived beside Judy and Jim. Chris was the cutest little 3 or 4 year old and Kacy was just a baby. Those memories I will always hold in my heart.
