It was truly an honor to get to know Jim in our 1 year of becoming a close neighbor. He welcomed us into his community like distant relatives and made us always feel welcome and invited us into his home. We are grateful that we got to enjoy his company, and his stories and jokes and we looked forward to every encounter and meet-up with him. Our heart goes out to all the family during this sad time and we want you all to know we are here for you if you need anything at all. We offer our shoulders and thoughts and prayers with grace and honor of a great and unique man that I wish we got to know much longer. You will truly be missed sir and never forgotten as you are forever in our hearts.

Sending our love, hugs and friendship to the Bryce family. You truly are our extended family. We will miss Jim very much but his legacy, jokes and funny stories and just generally 'happy guy' demeanor will never be forgotten. Jim set a wonderful example to all us young 'uns. He left us much too soon.

Jimmy was the best big brother anyone could have! From the things he taught me to do (and more times not to do) along with his ample sense of humor and love of family, he was a true humble man. His laugh and smile were infectious. He will truly be missed. We will help take care of Jenny.
RIP Brother.

The world lost a good man, and is now darker and colder. Jimmy was always there with a funny joke, crazy story, or just a helping hand. A larger than life personality with a smile and laugh that made you want to join in, and it didn't matter if you were family, friend, or stranger.

This hurts. I miss you, Uncle Jim.

Jenny and family — we were so shocked when we heard of Jim’s passing. We have and will continue to pray for you all. What a beautiful legacy this gentle soul has left behind. A legacy of a man of integrity and hard work — devoted husband — ever present father - encourager and supporter to his grandkids — faithful friend— I truly can only remember him smiling — Jenny you and Jim have two of the biggest giving and sharing hearts I have known. May you feel Gods presence and strength in these difficult days— know you are loved
