Jadyn Emily Player
December 6, 2002 - February 6, 2026
It is with great sadness, our beloved Warrior Jadyn Emily had no more fight left in her and began her journey with the creator. Jadyn from birth fought everyday of her life, with many health issues, surgeries and living with daily pain. If you looked at Jadyn you would never think she was in pain or suffering because she always had the biggest, infectious smile on her face. She was quite the character, she was the biggest jokester, even though she was nonverbal, she still communicated her thoughts and feelings, whether through her laughter, screaming, or with her hands. Jadyn was the strongest young lady who persevered through everything she faced in her short life, she is our warrior! She showed us what true strength looked like.
Survived by parents Audrey and Mike Player, siblings Justice and Isaiah. Papa Kevin Henhawk and Grandpa Raymond Henhawk. Uncles Neil, Turk, Stuart (Sandy), aunts Tanya, Kerri (Alex) and Angela (Tim). Cousins Kam, Randy(Shannon), Shaylee, Charlene, Shaylayna, Joshua, Terrell, Zachary, Evan, Bentley, Alexis, Denali, Oakley, Leona, Ethan, Kail, Brianna, Karis and Kaiya. And many great aunts and uncles and cousins. Predeceased by Gramma Sally Henhawk, Gramma Donna Henhawk, Nana Gail Player and Papa James Player.
Jadyn will be resting at her home at 359 Third Line on Wednesday from 7-9pm. Resting at Styres Funeral Home after 10am Thursday February 12, 2026 where Funeral service will be at 11am. Cremation to follow. www.rhbanderson.com
I Still Would Have Chosen You
If before you were born, I could have gone to heaven and saw all the beautiful souls, I still would have chosen you…
If God had told me, “This soul would one day need extra care and needs,” I still would have chosen you…
If He had told me, “This soul may make your heart bleed,” I still would have chosen you…
If He had told me, “This soul would make you question the depth of your faith,” I still would have chosen you…
If He had told me “This soul would make tears flow from your eyes that could fill a river,” I still would have chosen you…
If He had told me “This soul may one day make you witness overbearing suffering,” I still would have chosen you…
If He had told me, “All that you know to be normal would drastically change,” I still would have chosen you…
Of course, even though I would have chosen you, I know it was God who chose me for you.

My heart is broken hearing about the news of Jaydn's passing. She became very good friends with my son while they were in the same class together, and she was a bright, beautiful light in his world. I will never forget how wonderful it was that she was so drawn to him, and how tenacious she was in wanting to be his buddy. My son is nonverbal, but I know for a fact that he absolutely adored her and missed her terribly when she graduated. She was his first friend in what has been an often lonely and isolating life. Neither of us will ever forget her.
We send our sincerest condolences to her family and friends,
Garratt Court and his Momma (Penni)
