It was not hard to fall in love with Jacob instantly and feel that love in return with his beautiful smile every time he looked up at you. I feel honoured to have had the privilege to be part of Jacob's healthcare team, and to be welcomed as part of the Steven's family in their home.❤. Jacob touched so many lives in such a special way that will never be forgotten. I will truly miss visiting Jacob very much. Most of all his larger than life smile, those beautiful big brown eyes, as well as all our cuddle and fun play times that will be cherished forever. I am so gratefully for those memories we did have together. With my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Kim & Andy and your families. With Love, Tanya

"You can shine no matter what you're made of"-- a line from Robots, a movie Jacob and I watched over and over. But also, a statement to this little man's character and personality. He smiled whenever I came into a room and made my day better-- always. I did not realize when I met him that he would have such an impact on the person I am. I am blessed to have been part of his life, blessed for every minute I got with him and every smile he gave me. He will be missed by all who knew him, and I send my deepest condolences to Kim, Andy and family. I know I will feel Jacob's absence strongly but I know he is at peace. "Shine" your light, little buddy. xoxo

Our school is certainly feeling sad today knowing that Jacob's happy smile won't be here again. Every day he was here, he worked hard and loved his time in his classroom with his teacher Mr. King and his Ed Assistants. We will plant a tree to grow up to the sky for Jacob to see, once the spring weather arrives. God bless all in his family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in the hardest time you have ever faced. I just wanted to let you know, even know we didn't know Jacob we knew of him, through our daughter Ashleah Genovy, she spoke of him often and with much love. He was truly an inspiration,
and I believed we were blessed for having him as part of our lives through her. God bless. Rest in peace Jacob. Lori and Bernie Zilliges

I was blessed to be part of Jacob’s life. He was a joy to have in the classroom. He would come into the class with a smile on his face almost everyday. I loved it when I would open up an activity that he enjoyed and that smile would grow. I am inspired by the effort and determination that Jacob displayed on a daily basis. Every time we would provide him with a new challenge he would always rise to the occasion and would work incredibly hard to overcome his body to show us what he was made of. I only knew Jacob for a short time and feel like I had only scratched the surface of what he had to offer me and the rest of us. I will miss him dearly as will the team that worked with him at Quaker Road. Our deepest condolences to you and your family.

An angel among us. I had the pleasure of teaching Jacob but he really taught me- love, patience, perseverance, and compassion. We are all better that we had the chance to know Jacob. Always in our hearts. Xoxo.
