Ina Reile
January 17th, 1927 -Hamburg, Germany - February 15th, 2026 -Townsend, Ontario
Ina Reile passed away quietly in her sleep the morning of February 15th, 2026 at age 99.
Mom, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
Ina married the love of her life, Heinz, on December 21st, 1948 in Hamburg, Germany. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years. Together, they had six children; Evelyne, Sabine (Herb), Karin (Brian, predeceased), Marilyn (Jim), Ralph (predeceased), and Christine (predeceased) (Henry). She was blessed with 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
We will forever remember our beautiful Mother for strength, grit, kindness, warm loving care, compassion, and laughter throughout her life. She lived for her family and there was no limit to her love. She touched us all with her presence and her legacy and love lives on, forever.

We are very sad that Aunt Ina is no longer with us, but we are very grateful for her long life and for her devotion to her wonderful family. She was always there for everyone and kept everyone together. Her warmth and humor were unique. She never forgot her connection to her hometown of Hamburg, just as we Hamburgers have never forgotten her and never will. Our sympathy goes out to the entire Canadian family who took such loving care of her. Rest in peace, dear Ina!

Dear Evelyne, Sabine, Karin and Marilyn and families,
Susan and I want to extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to you on the passing of your Mother Ina to whom I had a special connection since the days of her courtship with your father Heinz in 1948. At that time I was elected to deliver the various love notes back and fourth between your then future parents. As an 11 year old I was taken up by Ina's beauty and caring personality with hope that they would get married to one another. And so they did. Over the next seventy years I experienced Ina's love, concern and friendship and watched her raise a beautiful family. We will sadly miss her.
