Fond childhood memories of June’s laughter and smiles as he waited on me at the store! He had so much patience while I took so long deciding how to spend a few pennies!!!

Sending condolences to the Styres Family, and hoping your memories bring you much peace. I had the pleasure of knowing June from a young age, he advocated strongly for Six Nations as a whole but especially to our youth. I am grateful for having the opportunity of playing for June’s founding Jr golf league in the 90’s, we had a ton of fun piling into his Van and hitting the rd! It was so much fun practicing and playing in jr golf invitational tournaments together. June was very kind and encouraging to all of us! He had a great sense of humour yet was able to teach us how to have sportsmanship and respect for ourselves and fellow players and for the game of golf. I’ll certainly miss the South Carolina golf trips as well, I”ll miss hearing his laughter around the golf course, card table and the pool tables! Rest easy June thank you for your friendship and leadership..journey well my friend and give our best to Billie.

Dear Family:
June was a great guy!
My Mom (Penny) and I played many games of euchre with him on Wednesday afternoons at the Seniors Euchre in Ohsweken.
Mom said that she knew June when they were kids working with their families harvesting somewhere near Jordon Station on Lake Ontario.
He was one of the favourites in our community and he will be missed by many.
May your memories bring you comfort in the coming days and weeks.
Your friend and Neighbour,
Dicki
