Dear Cheryl:

My sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved Gord. I'm very sad and will miss him. We enjoyed a number of trips, long walks, meals and conversations over the years. He was a good, decent man who was content with his lot in life and rarely complained. All he needed was to be around you, Cheryl, read lots of books, stroke his cat, enjoy a meal, dabble in his rock-collecting hobby, engage people in conversation and to be wearing a good pair of suspenders. May warm memories comfort you and bring you strength in the days ahead. May Gord's memory be a blessing forever.

I first met Gord in the fall of 1965 at the university of Waterloo.
He was a unique, enthusiastic, opinionated student. And he gave me a nickname that has stayed with our university colleagues until today, Wump Wump. Gord loved books! Sue and I were astounded, when visiting Gord and Cheryl at their home in Brampton, at the racks of book shelves filling their basement from floor to ceiling. Knowing Gord, i suspect he had read most of them.
My sympathies to you Cheryl on his sudden death. Wishing you fond memories.

Aww Aunt Cheryl sorry for your loss. I will always remember Uncle Gord with a glass of wine and tell us stores, at our family Christmas. And he would say " and you know Jennifer" and as I type this I smile but tears still come to my eyes....Hugs..

Aunt Cheryl, my condolences to you and sorry for your loss. I remember vividly the day you and Uncle Gord were married having the privilege of playing violin with Monica. I recall many summer reunions and Christmas dinners, many of those with Uncle Gord's mom who travelled to join us. May your memories encourage you at this time. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalms 34:18
