Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in his 60th year.  Beloved and only son of the late James Oliver and Edna Nettie Stewart.  Glenn was born in Dunnville and grew up on the family farm on the ninth concession of Walpole.  For many years Glenn enjoyed being the “Old Farmer” of the ninth concession.  Nothing pleased him more than climbing aboard a tractor and tilling up the soil.  He also enjoyed the old country hits singing a lot of these at karaoke.  He adored going to the farm dealer open houses and farm shows.  Glenn loved going to auctions and especially the Hagersville Sale Barn.  Upon semi-retirement from farming in the mid 90’s, Glenn worked as a sheet metal press operator at Lockwood Manufacturing in Waterford.  He also was a security guard, as well as a farm helper for Wayne Moore in York.  Funeral Service will be held at the Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Friday April 12, 2019 at 1pm. (visitation from 11am. until service time).  Interment Hagersville Cemetery.
