Blanche and family, my condolences to all. Not only was Glenn a teacher/principal, he was a friend to many. I have fond memories when i would be at my grandparents house and either see Glenn out for a jog, or dropping in to hang with the boys and play. I would see Glenn and Blanche once in a while in Brantford and it was always such a treat that we would be able to have fun conversations. He would always stop and make some time to share a thought. I am glad for these memories and thank you all for sharing him with us, we are better people for that.

Warm thoughts to Glen’s family and friends. Mr. Hill was my principal while I attended grades 7-8 at Central School, and later, a colleague during my teaching career on Six Nations. Many fond memories over the decades.

So sad to hear of Glenn's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Blanche, their children, family and friends. Cherish your memories of Glenn. He was my first principal and colleague when I was a novice teacher. Whenever I met him in the community he would stop and chat. Glenn was my favourite principal, excluding my relative, during my career. I am so glad that I told him that. He was a supportive and encouraging mentor who allowed his staff to strive for new endeavours. RIP, Mr Hill.

I am sending good thoughts to Blanche and family during this difficult time.
Glenn and Blanche have been our neighbours at the corner for many years and it was always a nice feeling to know that they were there. I first knew Glenn many years ago when he became the Principal of Ohsweken Central where I was a student in grade 7. He then was the Principal at J.C. Hill School when I was in Grade 8. He was still the Principal when I came home to teach at J.C. Hill. He was a wonderful Principal, so supportive, kind and well-informed.
I recall one year at J.C. Hill school we set up a system of Secret Santa from the beginning of school to Christmas. I was sure that it was one of the women teachers who left Reduce Reuse & Recycle things on my desk all Fall. At Christmas our Secret Santa was revealed - it was Mr. Hill!! We all got our Secret Santa partner something nice for Christmas and Glenn gave me a trifle bowl. I have it to this day and every time I look at it I will think of Glenn...a gentleman and scholar. He will be remembered and missed by many...a real community treasure.

My deepest sympathy to Blanche, their family and friends. I am a neighbour to Glen and Blanche and most importantly they were valued friends. As many of you had Mr. Hill as your principal, I also had him as my principal during my teaching at JC Hill school. He was a great principal, and a man of honour. Jim and I enjoyed our visits with Glen and Blanche. He was an interesting man with a great sense of humour. We really enjoyed our times with Glen and will dearly miss him.

I haven't seen you both in many years Blanche. I always would look your way in passing by your house coming from Brantford when I would go to our homestead. He was our Neighbour on 3rd line and recall when we use to go over and play baseball in the front yard of his parents home in the good ole days.
God made him to excel in his profession and he came from the most wonderful family. He claimed you to carry out his life I extend my deepest condolences to you Blanche, your family and Inlaws . Be Blessed with the wonderful memories
during the many years you spent together.

Brenda
