Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hamilton on Thursday April 8, 2021 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Mary (Basili) McGonnigal. Loving father of Dennis & Sheree. Dear grandfather of Jason. Special uncle to Lee and great uncle to Kelsey, and Colin. Cremation has taken place. Interment of cremated remains will be held at Hagersville Cemetery. Mary, and Dennis, and Sharee.....Bill and I are so sorry to hear of George's passing. George was a larger that life person, and we
respected him immensely! Mary, you Dennis, certainly felt like family to me, pretty much my whole life, and again, Bill and I are sorry for your loss of a husband and a father, and father in law, and a wonderful man.

George was a wonderful man, with a great sense of humor and always so full of love and life.

Heart felt sympathy to Mrs. McGonnigal and family. Many fond memories of one of my favorite paper route customers who always showed much kindness and friendliness while delivering their paper everyday. Rest in peace Mr.McGonnigal.
