McComber: Fernand “Vernon” Douglas
December 1, 1934 - June 22, 2016. Began his journey to the spirit world surrounded by his family. Husband of Margo. Loving father of Beverly (Barry), Pam, Becky, Cindy (Carl), Duke, Ted, Holly (Brock), and Tracey (Emmett). Dear grandfather of 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Brother of Louisa Bordeau. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Anne and Angus McComber; sister, Sara and brother Percy. Vernon was an Iron Worker for 50 years with Local 6, Buffalo, New York. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
