Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday October 12, 2019 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of 53 years to Johanna. Loving father of Ulrike & Andy, Annette & Ron, Falk & Becky, Beate & Cam, Christian & Cara, Katrin & Adam, and Friede & Ryan. Cherished Opa to Anna & Jake, Jacqueline & Matt, Olivia & Steven, Andrew, Marina, Austin, Colin, Julian, Dominique, Patrick, Kayley, Jayden, Declan, Daniella, Noella, Noah, Amelia, Jonah, Eden, Madelynn, Christian, Courtney, Clayton, Payton and great Opa to Hendrik, Dylan, Eva, Andi, and Ophelia. Brother of Horst, Erika & the late Adalberd, Gerd & Sigrid. Brother-in-law of the late Maria. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 27 Erie Ave. South, Fisherville on Thursday October 17, 2019 at 2 p.m. Interment Redeemer Lutheran Cemetery.
