Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the age of 63 years. Beloved husband of 30 years to Deborah Martin Abel. Loving father of Tonia Teyo Hill, Jasinda Kastowi:io Martin Abel, and Mike Mkwa Raterennon:ni Martin Abel. Grandfather of Walker Thomas Hill & Haley. Cherished Great Papa of Lyla, and Hazel. Dear son of Joanne & the late Isaac Abel. Brother of Christine Samuel (deceased), Darlene Abel & Lou, Bonnie Abel, and Isaac Jr. Abel. Son-In-Law of the late Mintern & Janet Martin. Brother-In-law of Michael & Cynthia Martin, Guy Martin, Diane Martin, and Janice & Mike Hill. Uncle of Cindy, Tracy, Nolenn, Erin, Alex, Rustin, James, Carla, Calvin (deceased), Brittney, Courtney and many great nieces and great nephews. Special friend of Jan Hill, and Brock Bomberry.
Fabian was Owner & Operator of Fabe’s Painting for 30 plus years, Equipment Manager & Trainer for Six Nations Lacrosse for the Rebels and some younger teams, a role he loved. Former member of the Grand River Pow Wow Committee and a friend to many especially his fishing buddies.
Resting at Styres Funeral Home, 1798 4th. Line, Ohsweken after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Evening Service at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday May 28, 2026 at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. www.rhbanderson.com
